Internships – CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata

CSIRCentral Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata is one of the first four laboratories which have been set up under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India with a mission to provide scientific industrial research and development in the area of glass, ceramics and related materials.

It is now inviting applications from BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech and M.Sc. students for its summer internships and training.

Who can apply: To be eligible for these internships, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  • You must be pursuing Engineering (3rd/4th year BE/B.Tech, 1st year ME/M.Tech) or 2nd year M.Sc.
  • You must have secured at least 60% marks throughout your academic career (from high school onwards).

Location: CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata.

Duration: 6-8 weeks in summer.

Stipend: No stipend will be provided to the selected students. Also, there are no fees or tuition costs associated with participation in the summer training and project work.

Kolkata based students will not be provided accommodation, if selected. Limited provision for accommodation may be available for outstation candidates on payment basis.
