KC Mahindra Scholarships for Post Graduate Studies Abroad

MahindraThe KC Mahindra Education Trust was founded by the late Mr. KC Mahindra in the year 1953, with an objective of promoting literacy and higher learning in the country. It is registered as a public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Over the years, K.C. Mahindra Education Trust has undertaken a number of education initiatives, which make a difference in the lives of deserving and needy students. The trust has provided more than Rs. 440.34 million (8.81 million $) in the form of grants, scholarships and loans. These funds are derived from the trusts investment portfolio, the main donor of which is the Mahindra group of companies.

And The KC Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad is an interest free loan scholarship which is awarded to deserving graduates interested in pursuing their post graduate studies overseas. This scholarship has been ongoing since 1956.

Who can apply: To be eligible, you are required to possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of the same standard from a recognized university. You must have secured admission or at least have applied for admission to a reputable university or institution abroad at the time of submission of the application form. The application form can be collected from the trust’s office. Shortlisted students are called for the final interviews which are held in July.

Application forms will be available from end January 2016 and your applications should reach them latest by March 31, 2016.
