The GE Foundation Scholar Leaders Program is now inviting applications from all second year undergraduate Engineering and Science students for its scholarships worth $2,000.
The program initially provided traditional financial support for university education, but has developed into an exciting Leadership Development Program to complement the student’s academic program. The program creates opportunities for students to develop and realize their potential by providing them with practical training and leadership development.
Why should you apply:
- A $2,000 (USD) per year scholarship for the 3rd, and 4th years of your undergraduate program.
- Opportunity to interact with GE Business Leaders and to understand the R&D culture of a major engineering company.
- Participation in GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders activities, including a specially designed leadership development seminar.
- Participation in community development projects.
Who can apply: Only second year students enrolled in one of the partner universities can apply for these scholarships.
The partner institutes/college for the GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders Program this year are BITS Pilani, IIT Gandhinagar, MIT Manipal, VIT Vellore and Tezpur University.
Scholarship Amount: $2,000 for two years.
Duration: 2 years
